Virtual Reality Altcoin Victoria VR Soars Over 24% After Launching App on Apple Vision Pro
An under-the-radar virtual reality substitute has introduced a new app set to debut on the newly launched Apple Vision Pro headphones, surging over 24% in just a few hours on Friday.
Victoria VR (VR) is a blockchain-backed metaverse superdata type powered by the Unreal Engine 3D creation tool. It is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) boasting realistic graphics, a digital real estate market, and non-fungible token (NFT) transactions.
The project’s native token, VR, was trading around $0.0347 when Victoria VR unveiled the new release on Apple Vision Pro early on Friday. Around 9 a.m. PST, it reached a peak of $0.0432, although it later retraced somewhat and is currently trading at $0.0374. This cryptocurrency asset, ranked 256th by market capitalization, has also surged nearly 66% over the past seven days.
Apple Vision Pro is Apple’s first 3D camera, launched in stores in the United States on Friday. It provides rich viewing capabilities for games, programs, and movies.
Furthermore, the Seychelles-based cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has listed VR in its innovation section on Friday.
Although the token’s price has increased this week, according to CoinGecko, VR is still down nearly 94% from its all-time high of $0.616 set in December 2021.
