Microsoft will never stop the abuse of Halo
Halo CE already had its remaster Anniversary edition, and it was epic. Halo 2 Anniversary is a masterpiece Space Opera. Halo 3 had no anniversary release, it still is one of the greatest games and sagas. Reach & ODST are epic in their own right too
Now after they released Halo Infinite incomplete and over budget in 2021, they are turning the first Halo into AI slop. I liked the 3D style the games had, they hit! Infinite even turned into a somewhat animated/cell shaded design for the characters which I like, and they stuck to the 3D style for everything else.
This is just insane, a remake of a remaster. All they needed to do was fix the multiplayer issues for Infinite or release a completely separate multiplayer set in Halo with all the bells & whistles included in 1 purchase & they would rake in enthusiasm like Battlefield and Helldivers has right now. Who even knows if this remaster remake will have multiplayer or if there will even be a demand for it after everything
