In the past two months, as someone who doesn’t come from a coding background, I’ve learned so much through vibe coding:
– Learned how to use Cursor and Windsurf
– Learned how to use Git and GitHub
– Learned about ThreeJS (3D games) and PhaserJS (2D games)
– Learned how to import 3D models into a game
– Learned how to get 3D characters animations with Mixamo
– Learned how to create 2D sprite sheets and import them into games
– Learned Game Design basics
– Learned the hard way that adapting a single-player game to multiplayer isn’t as easy as it sounds 😂
Whether or not Vibe Coding is a fad or is here to stay, it has become a gateway for me to learn new things that I never thought I would.
If you’ve been on the fence about trying it, take the leap and give it a shot. You might just surprise yourself.
