BattleGroup VR2 is an upcoming VR real-time space strategy game being developed by a single developer (SpaceOwl Games) as a sequel to the original BattleGroupVR. It builds on the foundations of its predecessor, in which you command a fleet of powerful warships from the bridge of your flagship in a first-person perspective. The game immerses you in tactical space battles while offering enhanced graphics, gameplay features, game modes and a dynamic, asynchronous multiplayer.

The game has been remade from the ground up for a more robust and maintainable codebase, improving on the original’s technical limitations. This includes a reworked battle system with full 3D space combat and six shield arcs (up from four in the original).
Expect extensive fleet customization, a variety of ships to unlock, and real-time tactical combat optimized for epic VR space battles.

A returning fan-favorite mode featuring persistent multiplayer battles over a galaxy map. You can create factions, compete with other players, and manage your fleet even when offline.
