People don’t realize that even with vibecoding it still takes weeks/months to finish a “simple” game.
And even then, you need to piece many different tools together to actually create that game, with lots of trial and error.
This is the crux of gaming:
An insane amount of different media, logic and net code combined in 1 application.
Networking: Multiplayer networking logic and speed, lobbies, sessions, authentication, etc.
Logic/Texts: Quests, Achievements, Events, Triggers, Game Loop, Combat, etc
Visuals: 3D/2D characters, maps, objects, VFX
Liveliness: Rigging, Animations/Sprites, Object and NPC movements and AI
Audio: SFX, Voices, Music
And a lot more probably.
This doesn’t include any of the low level stuff like rendering, occlusion, lights etc. and the deployment and hosting of games, which can be a science in itself.
Now imagine our $NEURAL World Engine had to be created with all of the above including the low level stuff in mind.
And not just that, the World Engine had to be built in a way that allows AI to actually touch and create ALL of the above mentioned pieces, in a way that guarantees a high success rate. Oh, and then it also has to support automated deployments and hosting, crossplatform. Oh, and a never seen before multiplayer collaborative editing mode in real-time.
Once you understand all of this, you will understand why why developing it takes time and I keep saying you can’t vibecode the World Engine.
But thanks to all the effort the whole team has put in, you will be able to actually vibecode your own games.
We are laying the groundwork for a whole new way of creating games. We will create the future of virtual life, and everyone holding $NEURAL participates in this mission.
Let’s get it done 🔥
Don't complicate it
The things that will save crypto gaming are:
1. high stakes instead of p2a and p2e
2. ai assisted coding (vibe coding), here the 3D generation tools still needs to get better and we need easier 2D tools too for sprites etc
3. games with genre and audience…
