On Friday we launched something really special at @JamangoGame.
For me, it’s one of the most beautiful and technically impressive game experiences I’ve ever seen in the browser and that’s not just because of how it looks.
We released our first RPG builder template, the start of what will become a full library of game templates on Jamango!.
Our team built a beautiful medieval map with the buildings, props, and items all created inside Jamango! itself without any external 3D tools.
And the really cool thing? Every bit of gameplay and interaction you see was built without writing a single line of code.
That’s the real power of Jamango!.
Game creation tools like Roblox Studio, Unity, and Unreal are incredible and becoming more powerful every year. But there’s a whole generation of people who want to make games and just aren’t being served by those traditional paths. Most of those tools are still heavy, complex downloads with steep learning curves, and they sit completely apart from how young creators actually experience playable content today — split across different apps from the player side.
Jamango! changes that. We’re building a world where making games feels as instant and fun as playing them.
It’s such a funny and immersive experience flying around your own world in ego view, dropping in traits and seeing your game come alive right in front of you.
And technically, it’s all running at 120 FPS in the browser, fully multiplayer, powered by @threejs with no installs, no downloads, or friction – just instant creation.
We’re still early, and we know there’s a tonne of work still to do on the creator UX, gameplay, and performance, but I’ve never been more bullish about the path we’re on.
