Heyo, I’m back again. I’ve been building another free browser tool that some DMs could get real use out of. Thanks to @GeminiApp for helping with coding/collaboration.
It’s live, real-time, online multiplayer worldbuilding. No download needed. If you run remote games, this works like a shared campaign map you can all interact with at the same time, with pins updating instantly for everyone.
Demo room:
What it is:
A shared 3D globe where you and your players can drop “lore pins” directly on locations (text, images, and a YouTube link). Toggle “Enable Live Updates” and watch pins pop in as the party adds them. Great during a session, and also as an always-on campaign map between games. It’s persistent, so the same URL keeps your world and pins saved over time for everyone you invite into the room.
Bring your own world map:
Only (hashtag)General has a locked map. Any other room can use its own globe texture (your map). Claim the room, paste your map image URL to set the globe texture, then lock it so it stays put for the campaign.
Rooms = campaigns, arcs, or groups:
Whatever comes after the (hashtag) in the URL is the room name. Examples:
(hashtag)ShadowoftheMadGod
(hashtag)ShadowoftheMadGod_S2
Want it extra secret? Add random numbers at the end so it’s basically unguessable.
What pins can contain:
Clickable links (share your project/site/community)
Up to 3 image links (from trusted hosts)
A YouTube link (ambience or reference)
Custom icon
Pin color and shape
“Recorded by” name (custom display name)
Moderation and safety:
Viewing works without signing in. Creating pins requires Google login for basic accountability. Room owners can remove pins in their room if needed. Images/icons auto-load only from trusted hosts, and anything unknown is click-to-load.
Drop a pin, say hello, or even promote your own project in a pin: Drop a pin, tell us about your project/site, add an image, even add a YT video. Connect with other like minded DnD worldbuilders.
